Loblaw Technology & Analytics powers game-changing retail solutions, giving our customers the ability to live their lives well.Loblaw Technology and Analytics is actively seeking to hire a Senior Technical Program Manager who will support the delivery of technical solutions integral to the success of Customer and Vendor Data Products and Services. This role will support Loyalty, Marketing, and Customer & Audience Portfolios in project management, governance, budget management, and Agile optimization. Reporting to Director, Technology Delivery, you will play a key role in driving accountability, giving direction, and the successful delivery of each project.What You’ll Do

  • Lead cross-functional project teams independently, demonstrating initiative and self-direction, while proactively identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Develop and Implement templates for project and program artefacts, including Project Plans, Stakeholder Registers, RAID logs, Weekly Updates, SteerCo updates, and Project Budgets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Increase Jira utilization and hygiene through introduction of Jira Plans / Roadmap, Custom Gadgets in Jira dashboards to measure Agile metrics such as Velocity, Cost per Story Point, Story Points per Sprint, and Escaped defects.
  • Manage project financials, including Capital, Operating Expenses, and Benefits at the program level.
  • Demonstrate self-initiative in project leadership while navigating ambiguity adeptly and guiding teams towards actionable solutions.

Who You Are

  • Seasoned Project Manager: Demonstrates autonomy and leadership by taking initiative and directing cross-functional project teams effectively, drawing from a wealth of experience in driving project success independently.
  • Meticulous documenter: Ensures accuracy and completeness in project documentation through meticulous attention to detail, honed over years of developing new processes and templates to improve project / program delivery.
  • Agile proficient: Advanced user of Jira, familiar with custom JQL to create custom dashboards for various stakeholders depending on their needs. Prior experience in optimizing Agile methodologies and measuring project metrics.
  • Strong financial acumen: Deep understanding of budgets, business case process, getting funding approvals (Capital & Operating Expense) and developing ongoing tracking mechanisms for the same. Proven ability to introduce KPIs to tie project benefits to EBIT.
  • Ambiguity navigator: Skilled at navigating uncertain situations and guiding teams toward actionable solutions with self-initiative, leveraging a track record of overcoming challenges and delivering results.
