DescriptionJob SummaryWe are seeking experienced sous chef/lead cook to join a team in a fun atmosphere while maintaining a professional decorum.The role includes but is not limited to the ability to drive sales, manage costs, create goals and execute strategies to meet/exceed targets given.Overall the position involves, a 45-50 hour work week. All aspects of all positions within the organization need to be understood. Creating a strong working environment that thrives and is set for success with or without you is mandatory.Responsibilities and DutiesNecessary skills, attributes, and responsibilities of a successful candidate:– Communication, ability to report, listen, execute, and follow up– Strong leadership focus (Mentorship, leading by example, team building)– Passion for food and beverage, with an attention to detail– Ability to assess suppliers, and determine effective plans of action– Understanding Cost of Sales and the relation to the business. Food Costs, Menu Engineering, Labour Costs– Cleanliness to a fault– Opening and Closing procedures– Inventory Control– Positive Attitude– A competent hiring process that is uniform and thoughtfulQualifications and SkillsRequired– Red Seal Certification– Food Handlers Certificate– Culinary School Degree or Diploma (preferred)– 3 years experience in the same or similar role– Health and SafetyJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $20.00-$25.00 per hourExperience:
