  • Shift Pattern – 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm (also available is a days / nights pattern)

Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the manufacturing process, working alongside a team of dedicated professionals.Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor machinery to produce high-quality snacksFollow standard operating procedures to ensure product consistency and safetyPerform quality checks to maintain product standardsAssist in the packaging and labelling of finished productsMaintain a clean and organised work areaCollaborate with team members to achieve production targetsClean Inspect Lubricate (CIL)Know the CILs (Clean, Inspect and Lubricate) for their area and support their completion with supportSupport initial CIL work which can be intense to restore the equipment to base conditionsDefect HandlingSeeks to find defects within their area and log theseTrack/report losses in the equipmentContributes to and track the defect list for their areaAutonomous MaintenanceA Team Member may support basic maintenance tasks and change overs with supportMaintain 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardise, Systemise) standards of appearance for equipment/areaParticipate in PSI [JD1] for any modifications/additions to equipmentComplete further AM (Autonomous Maintenance) steps on equipment as appropriateWorking in an IWS siteTeam Members need to be able to:

  • Talk with other Team Members, Equipment Owners and the Team Captain on their shift
  • Read and understand the IWS Boards at the beginning of each shift to remain up to date with developments
  • Be connected to the site and provide suggestions and input to suggested changes (CILs, Centre Lines process, defects, culture etc.)
  • Provide support to new recruits or agency workers
  • Provide input to shift action plans for their area

  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment will be beneficial
  • Able to work with data and information
  • Specific technical mastery on some equipment (beneficial)
  • Able to follow a plan
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills using relevant tool
  • Specific technical mastery on some equipment (beneficial)
  • Some CIL may require physical work including reaching, lifting and crouching – the appropriate health and safety equipment and processes help keep the Team Member safe.
