They’re our secret sauce; the opportunity for us to differentiate.Job Summary:Job Description:At a glanceThis role will be based at our Aylesford site.The salary range for this role is set at £29,000 – £41,500, plus a shift premium of 20%.Please note this role is 37.5 hours per week with a 4 week shift pattern working: week 1 06:00 – 14:00, week 2 08:00-16:00, week 3 10:00 – 14:00, week 4 08:00 – 16:00.Voluntary weekend working is available depending on workload.We have a permanent and 6 month secondment opportunity.Please note that you must live within 30-45 minutes from the site due to emergency call outs.About the roleAs Partners – members of the Partnership – it’s our responsibility to ensure our success for the future. Then come and join a unique in-house maintenance team, where no two days will be the same.You’ll be a confident communicator able to liaise with contractors, campus management teams and fellow technicians across the Waitrose site. You’ll be able to manage both preventative planned maintenance work and deal professionally with reactive calls / jobs.As part of the role you will take on the responsibility of Duty Technician and will be the point of contact for maintenance queries on a shared basis.What you’ll be doing:You’ll deliver a safe environment for Partners and customers, by undertaking planned preventative maintenance and also dealing with reactive situations as they occur.
