Our Risk & Compliance Team is looking for a Risk & Compliance Assistant. You will be supporting the Risk and Compliance team in compliance with various regulatory and industry related requirements such as Financial crime, Data protection, Ethics, Procurement, Risk management, People training.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has strong business support (administration) experience; experience in stakeholder management (building relationships) and risk management, regulatory compliance or accounting experience is preferable but not essential.Why Join Menzies?

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the R&C team in compliance with various regulatory and industry related requirements (Financial crime, Data protection, Ethics, Procurement, Risk management, People training)
  • Assisting with supporting service lines with clients’ queries
  • Assisting in managing various registers and systems in place
  • Assisting with internal controls testing and compliance reviews
  • Minutes taking at internal meetings
  • Maintenance of the internal Risk and Compliance site

The PersonYou would ideally have a Bachelor’s degree or an accounting qualification but not essential, along with:

  • Familiarity with relevant regulations (Financial crime and Data protection)
  • Ability to analyse data to identify trends and potential compliance issues
  • Being proficient in document manipulation using various software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Great attention to detail
  • An analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Communicates effectively and professionally in person and in writing
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and systems
  • Collaborates well in a team environment
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • International Compliance Association (ICA) certificate is a plus
