  • Salary starting from £25,184.00 per annum depending on experience which can be discussed at interview.
  • 39 hours weekly, working 5 days over 7, and alternative weekends.
  • Working hours between 7am to 10pm, approx. 8 hours daily.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE
You are someone who has experience producing a high volume of food, and passionate about our Swedish food products – including our famous meatballs. If you have experience within a catering or hospitality environment, this may be the role for you. You are passionate about food quality and health and safety, and ensuring a consistent experience for our many customers who visit our restaurant.You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, including at busy peak periods. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you may be leading your Kitchen Production team at busy periods, and rolling up your sleeves and multi-tasking.You have experience supporting and leading a team in an inspirational way. Previous leadership experience is essential. You lead your team to achieve common goals in line with the IKEA Values. You are someone who believes in the IKEA Concept, and lives the IKEA Culture and Values.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Food Team Leader, you will:

  • Work with your team to produce large volumes of our famous Swedish meals for customers.
  • Be responsible for ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, attractive, and inviting.
  • Promote a safety-first culture, as well as coaching others in ensuring routines and requirements are known and followed in all daily work.
  • Keep the customer in focus and take action to optimise sales and inspire our customers.
  • Lead your team in an inspiring and engaging way – and through the IKEA Values – to create a joyful, safe workplace.
  • Duty manager responsibility looking over all the food areas, including, Swedish Food Market & Bistro.
