Tribe Data Management NL
Data needs to be ‘managed’, to prevent that data creates more complexity. Here we come into play: We are Tribe Data Management, the experts in managing Domestic Bank NL’s data. Our tribe consists of three product areas, two platform teams and the competence center that holds both Data Privacy and CDO experts. Our purpose – unleashing the power of data – represents our belief in the potential of data. ​We empower DBNL to get the best value of its data in a well-governed way, ​to drive sustainable growth.

The team

For our Competence Centre CDO/Data Privacy, we are looking for an enthusiastic senior Data Governance and Protection Expert who can help us to develop our data protection strategy and roadmap. Do you have a passion for data, strategic continuously looking for improvements, are you a strong team player and do you see the challenge of implementing policies and standards like GDPR throughout DB NL? Then join the team and help us to ensure that the data of DB NL is optimally aligned with business requirements and terminology. You will work closely with the Data Protection Executive (DPE), Data Protection Officer (DPO), Chief Data Officer (CDO), Privacy Spocs, Data Product Teams, but also with colleagues of Legal, Compliance, Non-financial risk departments and of course with our the global colleagues of e.g. Bank DPE Office.

Roles and responsibilities
We aim for compliant data processing in DB NL and for a recognizable natural drive to secure the governance of all data. That is why CDO/Data Privacy Team enables DB NL to meet requirements of GDPR, BCBS239 and internal policies and standards. How? By offering our colleagues user friendly tools, processes, guidance, training and insights in their progress towards meeting all requirements. At the same time we want to make it as easy as possible for them, by simplifying and automating. Part of our job is also the assessment and reporting of data breaches and we respond to customer queries. 

Your profile and skills

  • Proven knowledge of GDPR (diplomas/certification) and other Data Management related regulatory requirements like BCBS239
  • Knowledge and practical experience with data security, data protection and privacy, data lifecycle management, and the related data quality, data lineage, data issue remediation and other data-governance practices
  • Enthusiastic, true team player and willing to help others to be successful
  • Focus on making impact and a drive to get things done
  • Proficient in English and Dutch (verbal and writing)
  • Master or bachelor’s degree (preferably in law)
