The office is in Geneva NY, hybrid and remote options available after initial orientation.Under the general supervision of the the Accounting Manager, prepares general ledger reconciliations, completes internal and external reporting, prepares and participates in outside audits and trains/mentor staff.Experience:Minimum: 3 years computerized accounting experiencePreferred:Other:Minimum: Experience using a spreadsheet application to complete complex analytical review.Preferred: Healthcare experience, Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and power point.Education:Minimum: BS in AccountingPreferred:Essential Job Functions:Prepares assigned general ledger account reconciliations in accordance with departmental policy and procedures. Make recommendations regarding tightening internal control.Prepares for and participates in all internal and external audits as assigned.Perform analytical review and prepare financial and statistical statements as assigned.Completes all assigned internal, external, and regulatory reporting requirements in accordance with regulatory guidelines within the designated time frames.Assumes a lead role within the finance team in setting high quality standards for policy/procedure compliance.
