About Our ClientOur client, located in Mississauga, is hiring a Controller for a permanent positionResponsibilities:
- Consolidation of financial statements for presentation to the head office
- Preparation of end-of-period and end-of-quarter reports, period summary results, and detailed results for a complete quarter
- Preparation of periodic financial statements
- Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
- Regular communication with the Canada Revenue Agency and Revenue Québec regarding the GST/QST declaration, as well as with various internal accounting teams
- Preparation of transfers on the banking platform
- Participation in audits
- Management of the staff
Qualifications and Skills:
- CPA Designated
- 5+ years in similar positions working in a large organization to support business division experience is an asset
- Experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain sector
- Knowledge of financial reporting/financial statements and business partnership with the operation
- Strong Excel and the ability to improve antiquated processes
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a must
- ERP experience and hands-on
Expected salary
$130000 per year
