Customer Service Representative in Boca Raton, Florida

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative located in Boca Raton, Florida. The role primarily involves handling customer inquiries and processing orders in a medical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Handle mid-volume inbound calls from customers, providing excellent customer service

• Take customer orders and complete sales transactions successfully

• Communicate effectively with customers to address their inquiries and resolve any issues

• Utilize strong selling skills such as qualifying customers, overcoming objections, and closing deals

• Confirm appointments and schedules with customers, ensuring all details are correctly set or passed along if already established

• Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

Requirements • Prior experience in a customer service role within the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industries

• Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complaints effectively

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is desirable

• Must demonstrate empathy and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service

• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays if required

• Bilingual or multilingual skills are beneficial
