If your answer is ‘Yes’, we have an intern opportunity for you!Internal Audit (IA) at ivari provides reasonable, independent, risk-based and objective assurance to the Audit and Conduct Review Committee of the Board and Senior Management on the adequacy of the internal control, risk management and governance systems and processes. IA assists ivari in accomplishing its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the organization’s governance, risk management, and internal control.You will report to the Chief Internal Auditor and can expect to work with most of the senior team members. Our flexible working structure provides many opportunities for you to step up to new challenges based on your readiness, including interacting with auditee management, internal audit service provider, performing quality reviews, and conducting subject matter research.With guidance from the Chief Internal Auditor, you may be asked to help on activities such as:

  • Assessing risks for the audit entities
  • Performing substantive testing work on audits
  • Conducting desktop research to support audit methodology enhancement
  • Planning and coordinating meetings with auditee
  • Assisting with the preparation of PowerPoint presentations for meetings and trainings
  • Assisting the audit quality improvement initiatives
  • Reviewing and summarizing materials provided by management and audit outsourcing partners
  • Performing quality testing on recently completed audit files
  • Supporting audit issue tracker, follow-up, and issue closure

What we are looking for…

  • Completed/ near completion of a professional accounting designation or internationally qualified accountants
  • 2+ years experience in audit preferably in quality assurance
  • Strong understanding of three lines of business
  • Proficient in International Auditing Standards
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft suite skills
  • Active listener with effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, focus on deliverables and ability to provide timely analysis
