We are looking to welcome kitchen assistants to join our fast paced & energized Food team in Nottingham.We are looking for people who share a passion for food and our customers to join us, you will be working in our customer restaurant serving a delicious taste of Sweden to our customers.Food experience isn’t essential but it is a fast paced job, with lots of walking and lifting, so a role your sleeves up mentality is key!!Expected Starting Date: 1oth August 2024WHAT WE OFFER

  • £12 per hour
  • 8 – 10 hours working weekends only
  • 16 hour contract, working 3 days a week and evenings 3 out of 4 weekends, working hours will support the needs of the business

You will contribute to a passionate and friendly team to deliver a better everyday life for the many, while embracing change with a solution-orientated mindset. This is an extremely fast paced working environment and requires you to multitask, producing and serving food with regular heavy lifting.For our kitchen assistant role, kitchen experience is desirable but we will offer support with training.If you have a roll up your sleeve mindset to the various tasks & challenges that present themselves, we want you!WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • As a Food Co-worker, you will report to one of the Food Managers or Team Leaders and work alongside them in the kitchen help to create a safe, healthy, delicious, sustainable, affordable, and joyful food experience for both the customer and the co-worker.
  • The kitchen is a safety-first, fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail for all things safety and efficient multi-tasking to ensure IKEA remains a safe place for people to shop, work and have fun.
