And we are One Driving ForceTM.Plasman ,is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:Mold Set Up Technician – 3rd shiftThe Role:
- Ability to read daily production schedule to determine sequence of mold changeovers
- Ability to operate overhead crane in a safe manner
- Understanding of basic rigging practices: required rigging, center of gravity, etc.
- Basic understanding of equipment. Prior Injection Molding experience is a plus
- Remove and install molds in/out of an Injection Molding machine quickly and without incident
- Ability to disconnect and connect all necessary components during changeovers: water lines, hydraulic lines, and electrical components
- Set-up molding the machine and all auxiliary equipment to the established process parameters and standards.
- Empty and clean hoppers, loaders and grinders during changeovers
- Layout workstations and correct conveyor placement
- Verify process parameters and document any changes to the established process
- Communicate to Supervisor any repairs that need to be made
- Restart the molding machine after cycle interruption, purge and shutdown the machine per documented procedures
Skills:
- Crane Operation
- Safe Rigging Practices
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical
- Ability to lift 50 lbs above head
- Above average attention to detail
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication
- Arrive to work on time each scheduled workday
- Willingness to work overtime as needed daily and weekends
Other Requirements:
- Knowledgeable of Injection Molding processes
- Previous experience in Injection Molding
