Description

Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI activities.

Knowledgeable in medical terminology.

Willing to help orientate/train new-hires

Willing to cross train into CT

Able to perform CT exams on GE 64 Slice machine (Preferred)

Demonstrates excellent customer service through positive patient experience; promotes positive inter/intra departmental communications and relationships.

Maintains confidentiality.

Ability to deal with continual emergent demands.

Highly developed organizational and time management skills.

Ability to deal with people in a tactful and courteous manner.

Well-developed written and oral communication skills.

Ability to be flexible in starting times to meet demands

Ability to work weekends, holidays, and emergency call-back

Attend departmental meetings to maintain expected performance standards.

Possess a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.

Ability to make independent professional decisions using good judgment skills.

Ability to practice high qual
