The roleThe Global People & Culture Business Partner for Software & Cloud is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees within SoftwareOne for parts of the Software and Cloud business within Services or Marketplace. The Global P&C BP acts as a consultant to Senior business Leaders on human resources-related topics and successfully acts as sparring partner and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. The Global P&C BP builds effective relationships and partnerships across and outside the HR function to deliver value-added service to leadership and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.This position will manage the whole spectrum of employee engagement, retention, development and performance, in close accordance with the regional/local P&C team as well as the CoE (Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Compensation & Rewards and Program Management). The HRBP reports to the Global Head P&C Software and Cloud.

  • Partner with Senior Leaders on various HR activities to support growth, effectiveness and change
  • Work effectively in a matrix organization to derive HR activities from the business strategy
  • Regularly monitor key organizational metrics and proactively use data to identify and analyse issues and influence leadership on recommended actions to build organizational capability
  • Lead HR initiatives (e.g. job architecture) globally or across a region and provide guidance to regional or local P&Cs
  • Actively contributes to the annual HR Plan and delivering on the output, including contributing to projects within the HR organization and the business line you’re partnering with
  • Act as change agent and supports the transformation within the organization
  • Facilitate organisational design and development activities
  • Coordinate annual performance planning and compensation review process for the teams the role is responsible for
  • Partner with hiring managers and talent acquisition team to assess talent needs and strategy to meet with both internal and external recruiting efforts
  • Drive cost take out initiatives globally through partnering with Leaders and local/regional P&C teams
  • Provide HC numbers for the monthly trading update (MTU)
  • Run various reports to support business needs and decisions

What we need to see from you

  • Hands-on experience across diverse countries in HR (Business Partnering or within a CoE) through working with diverse cultures regionally or globally
  • Led projects across a region and/or the globe
  • Know how to liaise with internal stakeholders ideally as part of a global team, ability to lead through influence, and experience with facilitating decision-making
  • Can challenge business leaders
  • Able to translate organization/business needs into HR activities.
