Job description
We are hiring for one of our respected clients based in the Great Yarmouth area! –A Galvenising Operative is responsible for –
- Outer-coating large sheets of steel/metal poles/rods/frames etc, then placing in a butt where it cools down.
- you will be responsible for moving the products out of the cooling butt – using hand tools to clean the ends of the metal and quality check the metal for uneven areas.
- once checked it is then moved to the stacking area, there will be a manual pump up pallet trucks to move pallets of stock around the warehouse.
- if the product is too large there is alos a forklift you can use if you have the training to do so. The warehouse can be quite dirty so assisting with general cleaning/tidiness is an essential part of the role.
- the role will include some heavy lifting.
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday
- 08:00 – 16:30
