The successful candidate must be a team player who can quickly ramp up on new technologies and accomplish goals in a fast-paced, Agile environment. You must have a combination of strong technical and communication abilities.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and maintain 3rd party and internal tools used for website administration
  • Support the Madcap DITA CCMS Infrastructure Tools & Servers
  • Collaborate with IT Team to address CCMS server-related issues.
  • Resolve content-related defects in Web and PDF outputs, coordinating with vendor support if required
  • Implement administrative changes to align tools with WR security requirements
  • Support the Writing Team’s use of CCMS
  • Post non-dita sources for the engineering team to the website as part of the DevOps cycle, and maintain tools to do so
  • Partner with the style committee to implement guidelines for web and CCMS infrastructure.

ABOUT YOUCore Competencies, Demonstrated Success, and Interests

  • XML, XLST, HTML5, CSS, and DITA-OT
  • The Madcap Ixiasoft CCMS
  • JavaScript, Python, and Bash Shell Scripting
  • Linux and Windows Server administration
  • Sphinx reStructured Text (RST) system deployment
  • Git SCM use with a Doc as Code publishing framework
  • Jenkins and other DevOps tools
  • REST APIs
  • Leveraging Generative AI and LLM in Information Development

QUALIFICATIONSThe ideal candidate should have 2+ years of related experience in the following areas:

  • Experience as a Technical Publications Infrastructure Engineer supporting a DITA writing team
  • Experience with maintaining website infrastructure and servers
  • Experience working with remote colleagues (for example, in Europe and Asia) and flexibility in working hours to accommodate occasional meetings with colleagues in those time zones
  • You must have an active problem-solving nature, be comfortable working independently and asking questions to gain hands-on experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in an Enterprise Agile environment will be an advantage
