Take the next step in your career with Sulzer UK and help us drive the business to new heights.We are looking for a/an Legal Manager to join our FE_Energy team in United Kingdom .Your main tasks and responsibilities:Contract Negotiation: Ensure all contracts comply with Sulzer’s contract/risk management procedures.Review and Mark-up: Provide concise mark-ups on standard form contracts (e.g. NEC3, LOGIC) and client T&Cs.Legal Support: Assist Sulzer’s finance, Human Resources (HR), and procurement teams with legal matters.Project Assistance: Support project management teams with legal advice on project-related issues.Training: Conduct legal risk management training for Sulzer’s UK businesses.Service Centre Visits: Ensure consistent legal advice across Sulzer’s UK service centres.To succeed in this role, you will need:Degree qualified in law or equivalent experience, with extensive knowledge of commercial contract issues and documentation preparation.A commercially focused mindset, adept at working with senior management and key stakeholders to explain and evaluate risk.Proven experience in leading customer negotiations.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering precise legal advice in a commercial context.Strong communication skills at all levels, recognising and executing opportunities effectively.What we offer you:Professional Development: Remarkable opportunities to advance your career.Market-aligned salary: Along with a personal bonus scheme.Generous Leave: 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) + service days.Pension Scheme: Defined contribution pension plan.Additional Perks: Company car/car allowance, employee assistance program, on-site car parking, and access to a wide range of discounts on everyday shopping, entertainment, and lifestyle, onsite gym, subsidized canteen.Recognition: Long service awardsNo visa or work permit support can be provided for this roleDo you have a question about the role?Reach out to Jade Goodman at [email protected] or Hiring Manager – Lee Dixon.
