Currently Hiring: Preventative Millwrights to join our Richmond, BC team!!We are currently looking for someone with experience inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions and can make the right decision when it comes to PMs. In this role you would Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls while maintaining routine work on all machinery. If you have 2 years experience in this trade, then this job should be easy for you to pick up, but it can be physically demanding as you are moving around all day. We are looking for someone with a career mindset, looking for long-term growth, that has interest in expanding their skills, can work closely with a team, and is ready to get started NOW!Location: Richmond, BC
Shift(s): Afternoons or Nights available / Monday – Friday
Shift Time: 2:00-10:30pm or // Nights: 10pm-6:30am
Wage offered: Anywhere from $35 non-ticketed to $45 with Certification
Permanent – Full time
Immediate Start Available!
Certification preferred but not required!

– Working with bread lines, packaging and stacking machines. Conveyors, proofers, ovens, etc.
– There is alt of movement on this job such as bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and alot of standing
– Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
– Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as chain blocks, jacks and forklifts, to position parts during the installation
– install, repair, align and take apart industrial machinery and equipment, such as pumps, fans, ovens and conveyors, etc.
– Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
– Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controlsQualifications
– Background in a food or baking industry would be a huge benefit
– Certified preferred but we are willing to train and support apprentices
– Available to work afternoons and or night shifts full-time
– Background in the food industry an asset
– Ability to read drawings, troubleshoot equipment and assist with installs
– Organized and good with prioritizing your problem solving skills
