We succeed as a team by embracing integrity, mutual respect, innovation, service, sustainability, and financial strength.Position OverviewThis is a skilled position overseeing the daily operations of payroll; compiling, creating, and updating information; fielding phone calls; assisting employees, officials, and managers; scanning, filing and other related duties as assigned.Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)Administrative & Finance Functions/Duties

  • Enter and process and approve employee timecards
  • Ensure all payroll is complete and approved to Ogden for processing on Monday mornings, 10am.
  • Data entry
  • Track and Post employee PTO hours
  • Reconcile payroll reports
  • Compile and Submit OJT reports with the Associated General Contractors of Wyoming
  • Cross train to learn and apply other departmental skills and knowledge
  • Assist with other duties and projects as assigned
  • Be on time and fit for duty as outlined in our company policy

Hiring Assistant Functions/Duties

  • Create Job Postings/Requisitions for Managers/Superintendents when requested
  • Complete new hire orientations, testing and background checks
  • Manage employee personnel files
  • Manage employee DOT driver files
  • Organize and file TRACK/THINK cards, as well as our Toolbox Safety Huddle forms
  • Respond and file unemployment paperwork with the WY Workforce Center
  • Assist employees navigate benefit programs

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree GED is required.

Work Requirements

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
  • Ability to do basic math.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Full Time Schedule 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

  • Must have a current and valid driver’s license.

Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders.
