In this diverse role of high impact within our matrix organization, we are hiring an energized, inclusive, and forward-thinking Cyber Security Analyst to join our global IT team in Poland (remote working and around 5% of traveling internationally) with a direct reporting line to our Supervisor Cyber Security Engineering based in the U.S.

Your Mission:

• Empower: Guide and support business units in implementing robust security solutions and responding effectively to security incidents.
• Innovate: Develop and deploy cutting-edge detection strategies, meticulously documenting incidents and creating comprehensive playbooks to fortify our defenses.
• Protect: Safeguard the Avery Dennison network by strategically configuring powerful protective measures at critical junctures.
• Respond: Act as the first line of defense against cyber threats, leveraging cutting-edge endpoint and cloud technologies to identify and neutralize risks.
• Research: Stay ahead of the curve by diligently researching emerging attack vectors and actively participating in industry knowledge-sharing communities.
• Optimize: Evaluate and implement new security technologies, skillfully develop and maintain detection policies and alerts, efficiently onboard new data sources into SIEM, and fine-tune existing systems for peak performance.

Qualifications

What we expect from you! – Your Expertise:

• Certified: Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Cyber Security or a related background, ideally combined with relevant security industry certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, CCNP, etc.)
• Experienced: 1+ years of information / cyber security management experience, including endpoints, incident response, network, application, or architecture, as well as with EDR, SIEM, and cloud technologies, preferably in manufacturing or operational technology environments
• Knowledgeable: Project management experience and familiarity with technology concepts across Windows, UNIX, database, network, and web
• Passionate: Security enthusiast with a keen interest in the latest threats, regex, scripting, and/or API calls
• Driven: Strong influencing and communication skills, creativity, innovation, and an entrepreneurial spirit for growing a sustainable business to set your career at Avery Dennison
