We are committed to creating an exceptional workplace that values highly skilled talent in a stimulating environment.Riverside Opticalab Ltd is part of EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses.GENERAL FUNCTIONThe Distribution Clerk will be working in Shipping department.The work schedule is Monday to Friday (day shift) but may be subject to change depending on operational and business needs, potentially requiring employees to work weekends and holidays as well.You may need to work different hours in the beginning for training purposes.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scanning trays to prepare invoices
- Matching invoices numerically to tray number
- Wrapping finished jobs and sorting numerically by specific account number
- Closing boxes with appropriate labels for shipping
- Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Job experience will be considered in place of High school diploma or GED
- Proficient in English (ability to read, write and speak fluently)
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- Computer proficiency, including the ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously (may be required for data entry position)
- The ability to meet measurable standards in a dynamic production environment Depth perception, use of fine motor skills and manual dexterity
- The ability to handle multiple requests effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Solid problem-solving skills
- The ability to follow directions
- A track record demonstrating responsibility and reliability
- Will be organized and will have manual dexterity
- An accountable and self-motivated work ethic
- Attention to detail and precision

- Must be able to walk/stand for full duration of the shift
