Company

Bionic Services

Job description

We are Bionic, the UK’s number one business comparison and switching service. It’s our mission to make it radically easier to run a small business and earn the lifetime loyalty of British businesses. To do this, we combine world-class human service with smart technology and data. This means our tech-enabled experts can quickly match business owners with the best deals on their business essentials – energy, connectivity, insurance, and finance. We also partner with leading price comparison websites, including Compare the Market, MoneySuperMarket, Uswitch for Business, and Confused.com, who trust us to provide their business energy switching services.About the RoleYour core focus will be owning idea > discovery > inception > delivery > optimisation for a software delivery team working on a back-end SaaS platform. The platform is at the core of a unique and modern approach to the SME insurance market, powering customer experiences that are stand-out better than the competition. You will be bringing the insurance sector into the modern era, delivering the underlying structures that lead to the retail-grade experience for small business owners that is otherwise missing. You’ll be running and refining the ceremonies for your team, working alongside your colleagues in Tech to build great products based on quantitative and qualitative data inputs – whilst protecting speed to market. The roadmap you create and prioritise, will guide you and set the vision and ambition for your team which will be aligned with the company’s broader strategy.Being a scaling business, you’ll likely get your hands dirty in several areas to help plug gaps in resource and keep the momentum in your team, this might be helping produce some customer insight to inform development or wireframing some designs to give the team an indication of the direction to head. You’ll be a great stakeholder manager and be a leader without authority in your agile delivery team. You’ll be able to push through ambiguity to find solutions and relish a challenge in a fun, fast paced environment.Day-to-day Responsibilities
