Instrumentation Technician Lead

A long standing residential roofing shingle manufacturer is looking for an Instrumentation Technician Lead to join their close-knit team. This is a rare opportunity to join a company that is deep rooted in their community and is built off of integrity, innovation, and teamwork.

Instrumentation Technician Lead Responsibilities: 

• Works on cross-departmental team of operators and technicians to support line uptime and quality shingle production  

• Performs electrical repairs on various types of electrical equipment and troubleshoots PLCS, HMIs and quality vision systems 

• Lead and develop a team of instrumentation technicians including scheduling, managing training, managing performance issues and driving team culture around safety and proccesses 

• Collaborate with operator and industrial technician leads to improve line support processes and execution  

• Participate in maintenance work planning and scheduling 

• Develop and maintain plain technical database and equipment 

Schedule: 

• Monday-Friday, 6:45am-3:45pm  

Instrumentation Technician Lead Requirements: 

• 7+ years of experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and automated systems in a manufacturing environment 

• Strong working knowledge of electrical theory and instrumentation devices  

• Strong mechanical aptitude  

• Leadership/supervisory experience or ability to step into a leadership position 

• High school diploma or GED  

Compensation: $50-$52/hr. Overtime available.
