We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Electrical Systems Test Engineer to enhance the integration of Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) circuits with all electrical systems in our vehicles.This is a perfect opportunity for someone with a strong engineering background, unyielding curiosity, and a passion for problem-solving to address issues in development vehicles and introduce new technology within EDS and the overall vehicle electrical system design.Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Testing & Reporting: Execute comprehensive testing schedules and compile result reports for cross-business communication.
  • Diagnosis & Analysis: Analyze test results to identify root causes and resolve issues.
  • FMEA Involvement: Understand and contribute to the Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis process.
  • Process Development: Support the development of efficient, standardized, and automated simulation processes through real-world validation.
  • Circuit Design Application: Apply circuit design knowledge and adhere to all related standards to ensure proper vehicle application.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Prepare and book test facilities/vehicles in line with vehicle development programs and ad-hoc requests.
  • Proficient use of electrical testing equipment, including multimeters, resistance meters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Understand instrument calibration processes and manage EDS electrical equipment tracking and control.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret a variety of electrical circuit wiring schematics and apply them to physical vehicle harnesses.
  • Familiarity with automotive electrical systems such as Electrification, ADAS, Powertrain, safety/comfort features, etc.
