Job Summary:
We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team in the heart of Toronto Downtown. The Program Administrative Assistant supports the Management and Supervisory teams as it is related to the delivery of health care services to community patients. This position works closely with the Management/Supervisory Team and the Educators to support their administrative needs.Responsibilities:

  • Maintain quality management data by program for each HCCSS partner
  • Assist in the data entry and follow up of the Visiting Nursing Self Scheduling sign up
  • Complete Quality Calls as set out by the Management team
  • Prep and Set up for different Community Programs
  • Assist in data entry and collection of patient service reports
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of service delivery information to staff in the nursing and PSW programs
  • Assist with Nursing Team meeting agendas and complete minutes
  • Assist in managing interviews with Management schedules
  • Assist with set up of performance/education meetings for Management and Supervisors
  • Calendar Management – as required
  • Book meetings as requested and complete minutes
  • Assist with all ad hoc meeting and tasks required to support the Patient Services department

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years work experience preferably in the health care industry
  • Executive Administrative experience is an asset
  • Experience with Quality Data Collection is an asset
  • Medical terminology course or equivalent
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data management
