What does a successful SDLC Process Professional do?

We are seeking a highly experienced SDLC Process Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and managing SDLC frameworks to optimize software development efficiency and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

What you will do:

• SDLC Framework Implementation: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of robust SDLC frameworks tailored to the organization’s needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement within the SDLC, streamline workflows, and implement changes to enhance efficiency, quality, and agility.
• Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the software development process. Implement governance mechanisms to monitor compliance.
• Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with development, testing, and deployment teams to integrate SDLC processes seamlessly into the overall software development and delivery lifecycle.
• Tooling and Automation: Evaluate, implement, and manage tools and automation solutions that support and enhance SDLC processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training programs for teams involved in the SDLC, and maintain comprehensive documentation of SDLC processes and procedures.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the SDLC, ensuring that processes are designed to minimize potential issues and facilitate effective risk response.
• Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of SDLC processes, providing regular reports and insights for continuous improvement.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an SDLC Process Specialist. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing SDLC frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of industry-standard SDLC methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) and best practices.
• Familiarity with tools and technologies supporting SDLC automation and optimization.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in training teams on SDLC processes and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address process bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
