Working collaboratively and cross-functionally within a team of Recruiters to support the delivery of a high-performing in-house recruitment operation, you will provide a brilliant candidate experience. You will establish relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand their hiring needs, address recruitment challenges, and coach them on recruitment best practices. You will support the delivery of recruitment campaigns where required, driving improvements and change projects, and talent sourcing for talent needs.With attention to detail, you maintain the accuracy of the recruitment system, and provide relevant MI and reports for key stakeholders. Your role will also involve overseeing administrative processes, ensuring compliance, and actively contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Through your knowledge of recruitment challenges specific to retail hiring, as well as your understanding of technology and recruitment systems, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process while delivering a high level of service to both internal stakeholders and candidates.Who you areYou have a recruitment background with a strong passion for fostering diverse and inclusive recruitment practices. With your in-depth understanding of the industry and market trends, you have a deep understanding of recruitment challenges specific to the food retail sector. Your excellent judgement, collaboration skills, and ability to communicate effectively allow you to build strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and colleagues across the People team ensuring a positive candidate experience and successful recruitment outcomes. Your knowledge of recruitment and the industry sector enables you to have meaningful conversations with candidates and hiring managers, matching the right talent to the right roles. With your adaptability, and proficiency in using resourcing technologies and data analysis, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the overall success of the recruitment function. Always curious, you stay up to date with new innovations in attraction methodologies showing your commitment to continuous improvement.What you’ll Know & Show

  • Knowledge of the recruitment challenges specific to your division and the food retail sector – essential
  • Good understanding of technology and how to get the best out of our recruitment systems and how these interact with our broader HR platforms – essential
  • Confidence and ability of IT skills including proficiency in using Microsoft programmes – essential
  • Strong verbal and written communications, with the ability to break down complex information and communicate simply to the team – essential
  • Experience working with social media platforms and online sourcing methods – essential
  • Experience of resourcing for a wide range of different roles from volume to leadership hires – essential
