It’s an opportunity to be part of something special.About the roleWe are looking for a Media Manager for the Northern Europe (NE) Business Unit, to work within our NE media team. This role will support and report into the Business Unit Media Lead, working collaboratively with other media team members. The main responsibilities will be to partner with our category and brand teams to develop world-class, data-driven communications plans, to leverage Haleon’s scale in the marketplace, and support the management of a cutting-edge agency model.The Media Manager position is a key role within the NE media team. The role will be aligned to specific categories and brands within the portfolio. The media manager will work collaboratively with the category and brand teams to fully understand the consumer needs, and how different media touchpoints can create better connections with our consumers. Core responsibilities would also include the oversight of media effectiveness workstreams, relating to the benefits of enhanced quality, attention and inclusivity metrics within our media buys. We are looking for someone who can enhance the capability and media knowledge of our brand teams, while also developing innovative media solutions to drive incremental growth for our market leading brands.Key responsibilitiesProvide local Brand Marketing teams with specialist resource, to help maximise ROI both efficiently and effectively across multi-media plansSupport the Media Lead with the oversight of all paid media channel planning, budget allocation and stewardship.Facilitate creativity and innovation across existing and new media partners (such as DOOH, audio, cinema, video)Support the management of the overall media agency relationship as well as work with cross functional teams/agencies to align objectives and develop integrated connection campaignsCollaborate with Global Strategic planning teams, to ensure strategic brand guidelines are interpreted accurately by local media agency, and executed brilliantlySupport the implementation of value-added programs and JBPs with our Media Partners such as Google, Facebook and AmazonManage and scale media partnerships that can be activated across multiple marketsWork across boundaries by building and developing trusted relationships with key stakeholders in order to deliver a respected and authoritative media counsel, i.e. collaborate and lead media related projects with other functions (Digital, Tech, Insights, Analytics)Use and analyse industry trends, performance data, and other digital resources to inform strategies, audience development, test & learn opportunities, optimisations and measurement frameworksBe well versed in the use of MMM data to produce media effectiveness case studies, and to generate actionable insights across the business unit.Qualifications and skillsEssentialA proven background with Media or Digital agencies, Media Management department or Media CompanyDemonstrable experience in digital marketing, cross-channel integrated media strategy and communications planningCapability in developing TV and Digital buying strategies with an understanding of Advanced/Connected TV, Search (SEM/SEO), Programmatic, Social (including Influencer) and eCommerceFamiliarity with analytical, empiric Media planning tools and holistic integrated strategy approachesExperience working with and stewarding programs with Media partners such as Google, Facebook, Amazon, etcUnderstanding of Paid, Owned, Earned, aspects of Digital marketing and how it fits as part of on overall, integrated marketing mixAbility to build relationships and manage performance of key partnersPreferredExperience contributing to Thought Leadership on innovation and emerging mediaExperience working with large, multi-national accountsExperience working with multiple marketsHealthcare/consumer healthcare/CPG communications experiencePerformance driven media, development and implementation of data driven strategiesPlease save a copy of the job description, as this may be helpful to refer to once the advert closes.Diversity, Equity and InclusionAt Haleon we embrace our diverse workforce by creating an inclusive environment that celebrates our unique perspectives, generates curiosity to create unmatched understanding of each other, and promotes fair and equitable outcomes for everyone.We’re striving to create a climate where we celebrate our diversity in all forms by treating each other with respect, listening to different viewpoints, supporting our communities, and creating a workplace where your authentic self belongs and thrives.We believe in an agile working culture for all our roles.
