Job description
Prospectus is excited to be working with a maternity and early years charity in their search for a Finance Manager to lead on day-to-day financial management. This is a full-time role, based in Eynsham (Oxfordshire) offered on a hybrid basis, until March 2025 (Maternity Cover).Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and IT, the Finance Manager will oversee all day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring procedures, systems and financial data is prepared in line with relevant legislation. The postholder will prepare month end accounting entries and the monthly management accounts, assisting with the implementation of financial reporting procedures. The Finance Manager will ensure financial reporting, including PAYE, pension liabilities and the preparation of VAT returns.To be successful, you will have proven experience of managing financial processes and accounts, with an ability to hit the ground running. You will have familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero), with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
