Do you want to be a part of driving the transition?We are looking for a Construction Supervisor to join our team based in our Aberdeen (AIBP) office.What will you be doing?

  • Managing, guiding, co-ordination and supporting the construction and commissioning personnel and teams onshore.
  • Responsible for compiling and distribution of weekly reports to the onshore project management team.
  • Setting out and ensuring compliance of the health & safety standards as per company procedures within the onshore and offshore team.
  • Setting workscope priorities and assign scopes in line with the project plan.
  • Ensuring timely completion and delivery of construction workpacks
  • Ensuring quality of the deliverables is maintained in line with corporate standards and procedures.
  • Ensure that HS & E expectations are met onshore and offshore.
  • Advise management team of scope deviations, highlight change and provides input to cost and planning departments as required.
  • Participates in client meetings and provide input to project reports and plan as required.
  • Input into the management of mobilisation and logistics.
  • Responsibility for successful planning and delivery onshore and offshore.
  • Ensure safe and environmentally successful completion of scopes offshore.
  • Management of materials, plant and equipment offshore.
  • Ensure that all hire plant and equipment has full certification requirements and is controlled cost effectively
  • Effectively manage change through the MoC process
  • Co-ordinate preservation of equipment and keep records of same
  • Review probationary evaluations and assessments for offshore personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with PUWER
  • Complete competence assessments for onshore personnel on an ongoing basis.
  • Enforce and record the appropriate discipline and disciplinary procedures where required using Just Culture
  • Management of construction budgets
  • Ensure that progress is collated accurately and submit to onshore planning in a timely manner.
  • Ensure non-conformances are handled according to defined project requirements
  • Advise project organisation of critical requirements for the completion of the work such as revisions, drawings, materials, equipment, subcontracts etc
  • Active take part in problem analyses, report and recommend to Project Manager areas requiring special attention and corrective actions
  • Oversee Lifting/ LOLER planning and execution
  • Liaise with Client both Onshore and Offshore
  • Involvement in HAZID,HWNF, Risk Assessments
  • Third Party/ Vendor Control management

We think you should have:

  • Previous experience of managing a construction function on a Major Project or within major organisation.
  • Previous experience of contributing towards Construction and Company Strategy.
  • In depth understanding of the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Legislation applicable to construction (DCR, LOLER etc.)
  • Task Risk Assessment.
  • Offshore survival, medical, mist
