Job description
A SaaS start up based in Arlington, VA is urgently hiring a Senior Backend Engineer. The ideal candidate has 6+ YOE using Java and building applications from the ground up.You will be building applications for over 900 US government agencies using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, AWS Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and ElasticSearch.This fulltime role is onsite with amazing benefits!Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, AWS, and CI/CD
- Ability to work with US government agencies
Nice to Have Skills:
- Hands on experience with Frontend technologies (i.e. Angular, React)
- Proficiency in using Docker or Kubernetes
