Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Canton, Ohio. The role involves managing customer interactions, keeping track of customer records, and supporting sales efforts in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will primarily work with the sales team, ensuring an organized and updated customer database, and handling customer inquiries professionally.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and update customer records accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist in preparing order entries and invoices, ensuring accuracy and effective communication with the team
• Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to maintain customer records, including data entry, updating information, and report generation
• Handle customer inquiries about billing information professionally and swiftly, taking necessary steps to uphold the positive image of the company
• Work collaboratively with the sales team to support sales efforts, contributing to sales strategy discussions
• Resolve troubleshooting issues by liaising with the relevant department, ensuring seamless customer service
• Participate in meetings and contribute to sales strategy discussions
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager
• Answer inbound calls and manage email correspondence efficiently
• Schedule appointments as needed and ensure efficient order entry. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Demonstrated ability in data entry and order entry tasks
• Experience in a call center customer service role
• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls effectively
• Exceptional customer service skills and a customer-first mindset
• Strong ability to schedule appointments accurately and efficiently
• Experience in responding to email correspondence in a professional manner
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle customer issues effectively
• Strong detail-orientation and organizational skills.
