Summary You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT of NAS KEY WEST. Responsibilities You will manage and oversee Information Assurance functions for the information system user community. You will develop risk assessments, security, test and evaluation; systems security contingency and disaster recovery plans; and prepare certification and accreditation packages. You will provide annual information assurance awareness training to all users. You will participate in analyzing and gathering evidence of computer incidents. You will may serve as the Local Element for Electronic Key Management System, Cryptographic Logon and other information security related programs requiring a command representative. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing advice and guidance regarding security aspects of processing, storage, retrieval, transmission, and access concerning classified and unclassified information; 2) Conducting network scans and periodic surveys to determine compliance with applicable regulations and policies; and 3) Conducting required cybersecurity reviews and audits.
