STANFORD HEALTH Women’s Cancer Center – Medical AssistantJob DescriptionThe Medical Assistant will be working within the Women’s Cancer center seeing an average of 30 patients a day. Their job duties will consist of rooming patients, verifying insurance, scheduling follow up appointments, and assisting physicians prepare for procedures or appointments. Knowledge of the OBGYN filed is a plus but not required for this role. Must be able to communicate with patients clearly and record health information within the hospitals electronic health system, EPIC.Contract : This assignment will start out as a 3 month contract through Actalent Services. You will be eligible for a full time position/contract extension at the end of the assignment.Requirements:
- MA Certification / Diploma
- 1 year of recent MA experience (Required)
- Womans health experience a plus
- BLS associated with AHA (must receive prior to start date)
- Reliable form of transportation
