We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our growing company, specializing in hedge maintenance and tree surgery support services. If you have experience in landscaping, tree care, or gardening, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a team where every day brings new challenges and opportunities.RoleThe main tasks of the candidate will be completing hedge trimming, stump grinding, and other wood processing tasks to keep our 3 teams as efficient as possible and or clients properties looking there best.This will involve precise hedge trimming and shaping, operations and routine maintenance of equipment of a wide range of equipment with full adherence to health and safety. The role requires effective communication with clients to understand their specific needs and ensure their satisfaction with the services provided.The role involves manual work and working with power tools and in some cases working at height from ladders platforms or cherry pickers. The candidate will be given further training to operate stump grinders, wood chippers , cherry pickers, and wood processing equipment.What We Offer:

Key Duties:

  • Trimming and shaping hedges to desired specifications
  • Basic maintenance and servicing of hedge-cutting equipment
  • Clearing and disposing of hedge trimmings and other debris
  • Assessing hedge health and recommending care solutions training provided
  • Operation of stump grinder, wood chipper and other wood processing equipment
  • Ensuring safety procedures are followed
  • Communicating with clients to understand their maintenance needs
  • Documenting work completed and maintaining records
  • Collaborating with team members to complete larger projects

Requirements:

  • Driving licence
  • Trailer driving experience an advantage
  • Comfortable working at height

  • Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per/annum
