KennedyPearce are hiring a Financial Controller for an independent production group headquartered in London (hybrid working). This company has a £50million turnover and the group consists of 7 key brands. We are looking to speak with Hands-on Financial Controllers from an auditing background with management experience. The ideal candidate will be a confident self-starter with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment plus have strong influencing and leadership skills. This person will manage a team of 5.Main Duties and Responsibilities: Monthly reporting, Audit, Tax and Payroll
- EBITDA summary
- Review consolidation
- Detailed review of all cashflows
- Ops meeting pack
- Compliance certificate and send to Barclays
- Annual reporting
- Consolidation including consolidated cashflow
- Stats review
- Cross-border UK-US, including intercompany dividends
- Payroll: Ad hoc queries throughout the month
- Treasury and banking: Run balances and foreign exchange
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, ideally with previous relevant industry experience within media or TV preferred- Upto 3 years PQE
- Some experience of managing, motivating and developing teams – including performance management and appraisals
- Demonstrable experience of working to tight deadlines and managing conflicting demands on time, while still delivering accurate results
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
