What will this role achieve?

Reporting to the Team Managers the successful candidate will provide supervision and support to a team of operators responsible for all areas of wrapping production. 

What will be your key deliverables?

The successful candidate will take ownership and accountability of the Supply Chain Excellence initiatives including tiered meetings and updating the boards.

• To ensure adherence to all quality and safety standards. 
• To ensure plant start-up and shut-down are properly planned and performed 
• To achieve planned output within specification. 
• To maximise plant efficiency and to minimise TOS and waste. 
• To maximise the labour utilisation. 
• To ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained. 
• To develop line operatives in line with company best practice. 
• Support the Team Leaders in the introduction and support of any improvement initiatives. 
• Provide a strong and co-ordinated link with all production processes on the line.

Essential

The successful candidates will demonstrate initiative, a supportive attitude to work and the ability to convey their skills and knowledge to work colleagues. Strong communication skills are essential ensuring liaison with a wide range of site personnel and functions from Technical and Hygeiene to Engineering and Human Resources. 

The successful candidates should demonstrate a flexible approach to work and a willingness to drive change within our operational environment.
