OpSource has partnered with JTEKT a global leader in engineering and manufacturing automotive systems, bearing solutions, and high-performance machine tools company in Piedmont, SC. Who is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Tech to join their team. THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITION.Summary/PurposeProvides support to production equipment through troubleshooting and reliability improvements.Pay for the position:

• $27.00/ DOE

Shift for the position:

• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM Monday through Friday.
• Please note: Starting in 2025, positions will transition to a 12-hour work schedule (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM/7:00 PM – 7:00 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule)

Job requirements for the position may include:Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, bearing application, CNC systems, PLC systems, oil/lube systems, 240V/480V electrical systems, and troubleshootingAbility to use general gages such as: calipers, micrometer, cylinder gage, and dial indicators.Understanding of hand and power tool usageGeneral knowledge of operating and maintaining heating, cooling or ventilation equipmentStrong initiative and self-starterOther duties as assigned by managementQualifications for the position:Special equipment knowledge (i.e., grinding, chip handling systems, vacuum and filtration, etc.)Experience with metal cutting and tooling, cutting fluids and their use.General knowledge of heating, cooling and ventilation systems, and operation of compressed air systemsExperience with hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC systems, nomenclature, and lubrication systems.Experience with the following; close tolerance measurement and part drawing interpretation.Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
