We operate in 9+ geographies across the UK, EU and the US.We believe that the future of financial services will be delivered by customer-oriented tech companies that embed financing in their customer journeys, and we are building the solutions that will power that future.The Role:We are looking for a product manager with a strong bias to action who is excited about leveraging technology and design to deliver meaningful business outcomes for our partners and their merchants.As a Product Manager at YouLend, you will take ownership of an area and work hand-in-hand with engineering as well as working with stakeholders across the organisation.You’ll be creating your own roadmap to solve key business problems. You will also support on strategic projects as required (e.g. launching new geographies or major new partnerships).Working directly with our existing Product Managers in an ‘no red tape’ culture. You will play a driving role in developing the product organisation at YouLend contributing to the product strategy and defining longer-term product bets.Requirements

  • A creative and empathetic approach to collaborating cross-functionally and solving customer problems
  • Hands on experience shipping products to improve real customer outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to make data driven decisions, define initiatives and measure their impact
  • Proven experience working closely with engineering teams and using agile methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, can articulate a clear and compelling vision and get people across the organisation to buy into that vision and approach
  • A low ego, team player mentality and a strong bias to action
  • You’ll be defining which projects we need to prioritise and setting a timeline to hit those goals quickly
  • Proven experience working with technical software engineering teams
  • You are independent, ambitious, and self-motivated
  • Looking to make an impact
  • Can quickly understand and master new concepts, and show the tenacity to question until you get clarity
