Process Overview:

Strategy & Innovation Generative AI technology team enables use of Generative AI within Global Markets.

Generative AI presents an exciting opportunity to derive valuable insights from data and to drive revenue growth, efficiencies, and improved business processes.

GenAI Technology team collaborates closely with Global Markets Business and Quantitative Strategies & Data Group (QSDG) & Platform teams in the design and buildout of the Global Markets Gen AI platform.

Job Description

The GenAI platform will cater to a growing number of use cases that harness the power of Generative AI, leveraging both proprietary and opensource Large Language Models.

The platform will integrate large volume of unstructured data: Research Documents, Agreements (Term Sheets, ISDA / CSA), analyst emails and structured data from GM Data Stores (e.g., KDB).

Global Markets Gen AI Platform will be built on a complex infrastructure landscape including cloud services, on-premises GPU compute, no-SQL databases, vector databases, microservices, batch schedulers and user interfaces.

Global Markets Gen AI Platform will require extensive QA testing and quality adherence.

Responsibilities:

The QA Tester will be responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes, ensuring the testing strategy and processes are well-defined and continuously improved.

Requirements:

Technical

o Experience with agile development methodologies, Jira and DevOps practices.

o Experience in test planning one or more applications that span across multiple stakeholders

o Strong experience in developing and executing testing strategies for complex applications.

o Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and test management tools.

o Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or PyTest.

o Understanding and experience in data testing/validation.

o Advanced skills in testing

applications developed in Python, SQL/No-SQL databases and user interfaces

o Knowledge of data versioning and data management practices.

Non-Technical

o Ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of audience (business stakeholders,

developer & support teams)

o Detail oriented & highly organized

o Adaptable to shifting & competing priorities

o Skilled at delegating, mentoring & setting expectations

o Problem solving skills to diagnose & resolve complex issues

o Committed and pro-active in ensuring high quality of service

o Coordination skills and experience collaborating with onshore/offshore teams

Education: BE / BTech / MTech / MCA / MSc  

Certifications (if any): NA

Experience Range: 8-10+ years in similar roles. Preferably in the financial industry

Foundational Skills:

  • Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and test management tools.
  • Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or PyTest.
  • Understanding and experience in data testing/validation.
  • Advanced skills in testing
  • Knowledge of good data management principles in order to further build out the team’s capabilities, including implementation of data quality checks, technology enhancements, and validation reports
  • Strong communication skills in order to collaborate with other groups

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools specific to AI/ML applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and testing in cloud environments.
