(OKM) | Corporate | Fixed-term contractType of employment:Temporary helpFunction:HRLocation:Southend-on-Sea, England, United KingdomReference Number:80043756-09092024Website:As a Talent Acquisition Partner at Olympus, you will play a strategic role in supporting the attraction and selection of talent to the UK & Ireland region, with a focus on minimising time to hire, providing a superb candidate experience, reducing costs and embracing diversity.We are offering this position as a long-term contract initially, commencing November 2024 – January 2026.For the benefit of your Talent Acquisition and HR colleagues, as well as stakeholders, a regular on-site presence is required however hybrid remote-working is in place and adopted by our team.Your responsibilities

  • Own the entire hiring process for your designated functions, from advertising and sourcing, to screening and offer negotiation
  • Ensure every candidate has a positive and engaging experience from application to offer
  • Source talent creatively, using both existing and new tools/methods to find and retain the best candidates
  • Champion our employer brand through social media, job posting and candidate interaction
  • Track key hiring metrics and maintain data integrity in our ATS (applicant tracking system) to provide insights and continuously improve our recruitment processes
  • Represent Olympus as a brand ambassador
  • Recommend and drive improvements to the hiring process and sourcing strategies, working closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager
  • Communicate proactively and in a timely manner with candidates, providing details on the selection process and Hiring Leader feedback
  • Assist with the development and delivery of ad-hoc recruitment projects and initiatives, as directed
  • Support recruitment activities in EMEA markets outside UK as required
  • Responsible for operating within legislation, ethics and company values

Your qualification

  • You will have proven experience in a Talent Acquisition or Recruitment position
  • Deep knowledge of sourcing techniques, candidate screening, and interviewing
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills – you know how to build trust with candidates and hiring managers alike
  • Ability to manage a high volume of roles and balance priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of employer branding and candidate experience
  • Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools (LinkedIn, job boards, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
