We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Placement Student to join our team specializing in Finance for our Power Systems Business segment in UK, Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential! 

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 7th July 2025.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

• Prepare journal entries for month-end close, and monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Item cost setting and product cost consolidations, and material variance analysis including actions to resolve issues.
• Inventory valuation and provision assessment and support Annual Physical Inventory and audit cycle count processes.
• Important contributor with respect to the annual standard setting and cost roll process.
• Support monthly current cost process and bridge key month on month product cost movements.
• Maintain internal control documentation.

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

• Studying a relevant degree.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data.
• A desire to work in finance in a manufacturing organization.
