We also have an expanding and evolving premium spirits range that include Black Cow Vodka, Bandero Tequila and Tarquins Gin.As a People First organisation, we’re happy to discuss flexible working options.Your PurposeWe’re now looking to recruit a Shift Manager to join our brilliant team at Burton Brewery.The shift manager role is responsible for the execution of the production plans whilst ensuring safety and quality, they also lead the resolution of any barriers to realisation of these plans.Through good people management processes, they drive capability, engagement, and performance of their teams.Working closely with the line structure team and operations manager they drive the success of the department.Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management
  • Planning and Control – Interpret production plan schedule requirements and organise and deploy people, plant, and material resources to execute the plan and hit all appropriate KPI’s including all quality and DMS (Daily Management Systems) requirements.
  • Continuously ensure standard procedures are followed and that there is adherence to quality and Safety Health and Environmental Standards.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis for persistent problems.

  • Develop Team Capability

  • People management and leadership capability. Coaching skills and demonstrated capability in leading.
  • Experience of World Class Supply Chain tools and techniques, specifically understanding and experience of problem-solving tools and methodologies and changeover time reduction.
  • Proven track record in leading change.
