Join ITV.Your impact sends ripples.The teamThis role sits in the M&E Marketing team and plays a vital role supporting the development of upper funnel marketing campaigns which drive business KPIs across Broadcast and Streaming.The Marketing Executive will be responsible for supporting campaigns or activity leveraging our brand and priority content, in order to drive upper funnel marketing outcomes, ensuring ITV remains relevant, talked about and ultimately, watched by millions every day.The person in this role will need to work closely with colleagues in our Insight, Media, Creative, Delivery and Publicity teams, supporting an agile, matrix team (POD) to help develop best in class campaigns rooted in consumer insight.A close working relationship with production teams and key internal stakeholders will also be vital, building marketing’s influence and ensuring our content is leveraged to maximise effect.A passion for both creativity and effectiveness will be key in this role, with a focus on ensuring marketing investment is cutting through in an increasingly competitive market.The role

  • Create the strongest foundations for marketing activity by constructing best in class briefs rooted in insight about the content, brand, audience, market and culture.
  • Work with colleagues in Media, Creative, Delivery and Publicity, supporting an agile, matrix team (POD) and working in agile ways to develop activity from inception through to final analysis.
  • To monitor and analyse market, brand and competitor performance/activity and proactively recommend improvements to our activity.
  • Build strong relationships with the ITV genre commissioning teams, working with them to ensure content ‘ammunition’ is utilised to maximum effect.
  • Ensure that all campaign learnings are captured, communicated and used to inform future activity.
  • Work closely with the Brand team to ensure all marketing activity helps to reinforce our brand positioning and tone of voice.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Evidence of ability to analyse trends and data to understand viewer behaviour and create marketing activity which reacts to these insights.
  • Evidence of ability to help develop creatively impactful cross-media campaigns which spark and maintain conversations, excite audiences and ultimately drive viewing.
  • Evidence of ability to grow stakeholder relationships, able to listen effectively and defend a proposed approach, including the use of data to support rationale.
  • Broad understanding of all types of media, including experience in digital, data marketing techniques.
  • Knowledge of the UK TV marketplace and ITV’s position within it, including the latest changes in viewing trends and content discovery.
