Discover a world of career possibilities with Sagan.Position Overview:We are seeking a polished and articulate Director of Investor Relations (Inside BDR) to manage and convert inbound indications of interest into investor meetings. The ideal candidate will have a sophisticated demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to build and refine sales sequences for new leads. This role requires significant phone interaction, including screening leads, scheduling meetings, and maintaining investor relationships. The candidate should be comfortable interacting with high-net-worth individuals and be adept at managing investor communications.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Management: Handle inbound leads by building or refining sales sequences, executing outreach through phone calls, LinkedIn connections, and emails, and screening leads to determine qualification.
  • Meeting Scheduling: Book qualified leads into calendar meetings with the hiring manager.
  • Investor Relations: In off-seasons, engage with existing investors to provide updates and maintain relationships through personalized touchpoints.
  • Outbound Campaigns: Plan and execute cold outreach campaigns to potential high-net-worth investors, with a focus on strategic, high-impact approaches rather than volume-driven cold emails.
  • Communication: Draft investor communications, manage follow-ups, and ensure all interactions are conducted with the highest level of professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Language Skills: Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, preferably with a posh British accent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in investor relations, sales, or a related role is required.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Pipedrive, Reply.io, Slack, and other CRM tools is preferred but not essential.
  • Attributes: Charming, highly articulate, and comfortable interacting with wealthy individuals. The ideal candidate should have a background that reflects familiarity with affluent environments.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with managing high-net-worth clients.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively in managing investor relationships.
