Sr Production Scheduler

A
well-known manufacturing company
in Kent is looking to add a SR Production Scheduler to their
growing team!

This opportunity is with a leading
provider of innovative solutions and services in the telecommunications
industry. This company specializes in the design, manufacturing, and
installation of fiber optic cables, connectivity solutions, and accessories.

In
this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient scheduling of
production activities while overseeing two schedulers.

SR
Production Scheduler Responsibilities:

• Develop
  and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize
  resource utilization.
• Collaborate
  with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan for production
  requirements.
• Oversee
  and mentor a team of two direct reports, including one other scheduler and an
  assistant scheduler.
• Utilize
  strong Excel skills to analyze data, create reports, and identify scheduling
  trends.
• Communicate
  effectively with the Operations Manager and provide regular updates on
  scheduling status and issues.

Schedule: Monday
– Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.

SR Production Scheduler Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of
  scheduling experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Leadership experience, whether through
  leading a team or managing projects.
• Proficiency in
  Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Familiarity with ERP systems, Oracle
  experience is a plus.
• Associates degree in related field or equivalent
  experience.

Compensation: $65,000 to $90,000 annually.
