A company in Everett that provides metal products for a variety of industries is seeking a Shop Helper to join their team. If you are skilled in the use of hand and power tools and have a desire to learn the metal working and fabrication industry, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
This temporary-to-hire position offers a 4-day work week and a supportive team environment. This positions plays an integral role in supporting the production of products for the commercial, construction and artistic industries!
Shop Helper Job Duties:
- Assist in the preparation of metal components by drilling/deburring
- Operate basic machinery and tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines
- Support experienced workers in various tasks as needed.
- Help with inventory management and material handling?
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm
Pay:
$20-$25 per hour
Metal Fabricator Job Requirements:
- Prior shop experience preferred
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- 6 months minimum experience in a manufacturing environment or completion of educational program in metal fabrication
