We are hiring!Circet UK are looking for a Head of Operations to join our R100 teamAs Head of Operations, you will implement the correct processes and practices across the organisation including formulating strategy, improving performance (including system and process improvements), procuring resources and securing compliance.You will be tasked with the management of teams with responsibility across Scotland on operational delivery of fibre and copper networks. You will hold the operational P&L responsibility to manage risk and the delivery of projects and frameworks across the UK.This will include coordinating the internal structure of the organisation based on company policies, goals and objectives to ensure an efficient working environment and that deadlines are met consistently. You will direct, plan and oversee the successful operational management and portfolio delivery of all projects and customer programmes assigned to you.Working with CircetCircet Ireland & UK have built an ever-growing portfolio of specialist services. With over 4000 employees across Ireland & UK we continue to bring people together to make this happen.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure process/policies are adhered to across the business & advise on potential changes and play a key role in the implementation of all such changes.
  • Advise on existing structure and implement change where necessary.
  • Advise, build and oversee the building of the delivery team and processes for R100 – within the proposed structure, people, process and technology should be included in any mobilisation plan.
  • Business development – Advise and assist where required to secure new clients and additional programmes of work.
  • Managing Clients at Director Level – It is important that Circet distinguishes itself from other contractors and the quality of conversation at Director level is key to this – You will offer insight and suggest ways of working in order to drive improved volumes and commercial return.
  • Own all aspects of delivery and reporting including budget & forecast, quality, health & safety, customer satisfaction and programme – This should include structured weekly and monthly governance meetings, focussing on progress, risks, issues and cost value reporting per project. Circet would expect detailed plans per project – maximising crew productivity and minimising council issues etc.
  • Create and deliver the annual budgets.
  • Effectively communicate and ensure that Group and Location strategy, policies and procedures are fully understood, deployed and complied with across the company.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

  • Experienced leader with proven track record in leading a multi-functional team.
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability to deliver against agreed targets.
  • Commercially aware and engaged.
  • Naturally collaborative, able to build relationships with key client and supply chain contacts.
  • Able to command respect and establish personal and business credibility.
  • Committed to delivering the highest health and safety standards.
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Experience in an operational manager role.
  • Experience of utility (streetworks) operations, particularly high-volume low value.
