Driver Hire Edinburgh City are looking for a van driver to work for one of our clients, a busy Timber Merchant based in EdinburghPosition: Van Driver (Ad-Hoc Basis)Location: EdinburghHourly Rate: £12 per hourKey Responsibilities:

• Safely load, transport, and unload timber products.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to various locations.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Perform vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving licence.
• Previous experience in a delivery role is essential.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical work.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Knowledge of local routes and areas is a plus.

Benefits:

• Monday- Friday £12 per hour.
• Overtime after 8 hours £15.99 per hour
• Ad-hoc shifts, perfect for fitting around other commitments
